Current issue Flight Deck Helmet made by David Clark Company. The HGU24 & HGU25P are the same helmet with exception of the headset. The use of part number HSC-61C makes this an HGU-24P and the use of just the ear protector, 9AN/2 would make this an HGU-25P.

Helmet parts require assembly and this helmet is ordered in parts kit only. Please use the menu to build your HGU 24 or 25.

The HGU24P, HGU25P Flight Deck Helmet is a build your own helmet that was specifically developed for the flight decks of any type of US aircraft carrier. The bump on the helmet itself is incorporated in order to serve as a hearing protector as well as a headset since the encounter of a rough environment is very likely. Current issue Flight Deck Helmet made by David Clark Company. In terms of its components, the helmet is made up of a suspension liner, energy absorbing impact pads, and a front and back assembly. The shells in particular can be customized to be either brown, blue, green, red, yellow or purple. The HGU24 & HGU25P are the same helmet with the exception of the headset. The use of part number HSC-61C makes this an HGU-24P and the use of just the ear protector, 9AN/2 would make this an HGU-25P.
