Cyalume Chemical Lights

Cyalume Chemical Lights are chemical sticks that are the gold standard in chemical light technology. If you don't have access to electric light, then chem lights are a great second option. We have a few different color options for the Cyalume Chemical lights, including White, green, yellow, blue, and red. The U.S. forces will sometimes use chem lights to mark rooms and identify friendly troops for aircraft. The reason that they use them to mark rooms is because they do not want other troops to clear a room that has already been cleared. It would otherwise be a waste of time. Typically they would tape over them so that they do not intrude on vision because of how bright that they are. Most Cyalume Chemical Lights last up to 12 hours before burning out.
