The U.S. Navy Complete MK-1 Inflatable Life Vest is essential gear for elite water rescue crews. The PFD comes complete with tools to help in lifesaving situations—including a I441 Life Preserver Vest, a I001 Whistle, a I921 ACR Strobe Light I701 Kit and a I702 Dye Marker.* There’s plenty of room to fit those tools inside easy-access hook-and-loop pockets and on the hook-and-loop shoulder patch. The back harness fits most standard fall protection gear, reflective patches make it easier for others to see you and the shell is constructed with a durable, fire-retardant blend of cotton and high-tenacity nylon rugged twill. If the wearer also encounters danger in the water, the vest will manually inflate with either a tug on the inflation cord or with the oral tube. *While each added item may be essential for rescue missions, they are not essential for the proper use of the primary life jacket’s functions.
