The ResQFlare PRO is an electronic boat flare designed for superior visibility and safer operation in emergencies. Unlike traditional flares, it features a multi-color LED flash system (red-orange and cyan) plus infrared light, ensuring detection by the naked eye and by search crews using Night Vision technology. It is fully buoyant, waterproof (IP67), and self-righting in water.
Meeting both RTCM 13200.0 and USCG regulations (46 CFR 161.013), this flare delivers a high-intensity SOS signal visible over 8 miles, with a wide 180°+ luminous angle and 3-hour runtime. When paired with the included certified Daytime Distress Flag, the ResQFlare PRO satisfies USCG requirements for both day and night signaling—making it a legal alternative to flares on vessels under 65 feet in U.S. waters.
It includes a mounting bracket, attachment hardware, and a 1-meter tethering lanyard, providing secure and accessible storage. Operates on eight user-replaceable CR123 lithium batteries (not included).
